I strongly recommend researching the breed before you buy. Siberians are not for everyone. They are a very energetic dog and extremely intelligent. They are amazing escape artists.

It is important that you have a fenced area that can safely protect them. If a husky does get loose, it is their instinct to run for miles. They are also incredibly social animals and enjoy the company of a pack. You might very well find after welcoming one husky into your home, you are looking for another.
